About
My
Approach
My path to becoming a Relationship Practitioner was shaped by discipline, resilience, and a deep understanding of transformation.
In my early academic years, I made the intentional decision to live in my car while completing my associate’s degree, choosing long-term vision over short-term comfort. During that time, I balanced creative work as a SAG-AFTRA artist, taught theater to middle school students, and remained committed to academic excellence. That season instilled a lasting foundation: growth requires courage, structure, and emotional endurance.
I was later honored as an honorary commencement speaker at Santa Monica College, where I shared my journey of perseverance and how I earned a full scholarship to UCLA. These formative experiences continue to shape how I approach both life and relationships—with clarity, accountability, and long-term perspective.
My graduate training in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, deepened my commitment to relationship-focused work. While traditional models often center on diagnosis, my work focuses on structured, non-clinical relationship development—helping corporate professionals and entrepreneurs understand attachment patterns, regulate emotional responses, and rebuild trust without being defined by pathology. My Behavioral Health Support Specialist Certification through UCLA Extension further strengthened my ability to support clients through emotional and interpersonal challenges.
As a Caribbean-American practitioner and daughter of a psychologist and social worker, I carry a legacy of service and psychological insight. My lived experiences, combined with rigorous academic and professional training, inform a grounded, culturally aware, and strategic approach to relationship support.
